Safe Light is...

Safelight Initiative is a non-profit organization that works to equip the youth by offering varieties of mindset and attitudinal change training, workshops, and seminars; character-set, facilitating platforms such as volunteering, internships, mentorship and other humanitarian activities and; skillset, providing them different entrepreneurial and innovative skills.

Ambassador Sileshi Sals Mohammed

Ambassador Sileshi Sals Mohammed is the founder and chief executive director of Safe Light Initiative. He is an experienced transformational youth leader with vast skills of mentorship, project planning and management and public speaking. Founded on his passion for Youth Development and belief that youth empowerment is the catalyst for global change, Amb. Sleshi Sals Umer has as worked to lead Safe Light towards the forefront in mentorship, life skill and self-development trainings, public lectures, volunteerism, charity and newsletters by emphasizing the SDG goals and Safe Light’s own transform 2032 agenda. Amb. Sleshi Sals Umer’s work has been recognized internationally through the Embassy of USA, Indonesia, Thailand and Africa Youth Initiatives. He was also selected among other best seven others in Ignite Africa Entrepreneurship competition from the continent in 2018. He has been selected to be World Peace Ambassador by World Peace Tract International Initiative for his successful engagement to bring peace and development for the nation. Amb. Sleshi Sals Umer holds a bachelor degree in Natural Resource Management. He also graduated from English Language and literature and has been recognized locally and internationally with different certifications such as an international certification from Advance diploma in Leadership development and a certification in Media Production.
